Fishing in the area is very rewarding, as you can target a wide range of species, from the nearshore bottom feeders to the big pelagic monsters that roam the open waters. Grouper, Snapper, Triggerfish, Jack, Wahoo, Barracuda, Tuna, Marlin, and Sailfish can all be targeted depending on your preference and skill.

Your trip begins at the Marina Fonatur where our staff will introduce you to our expert angler/professional Captain and his 1st mate. Next, we depart onboard a 30' Angler Boat fully equipped for fishing including a fighting chair, professional rods, and all necessary equipment for a successful catch! Expect a comfortable vessel with a full-head toilet and a multi-media system on board that can accommodate up to 8 people comfortably and allows room for maneuvering your fishing equipment! Children are welcome on board, so bring them for some quality family time.

The activity lasts 4 hrs and can be extended up to 8 hrs for an additional cost. We'll provide fresh guacamole or pico de gallo salsa, tortilla chips, fresh fruit, bottled water, and sodas. Beer is sold separately and can be added during checkout. Whatever you are having, our 1st mate will make sure you are taken care of and always have a drink in your hand.

When you go Deep Sea Fishing in Cozumel, you’re most likely to bring in Blue and White Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, or Barracuda depending on the season. We’ll have a minimum of 4 lines in the water at all times to maximize your chances of catching fish. Bottom fishing is also available upon request.

Gratuity for the crew is always appreciated. All you need to bring is some sun protection so you can enjoy your time, and you’re all set!

This tour is very enjoyable and easy-going. Though our boats do not travel at excessive speeds, this tour is not recommended for people with heart or breathing issues. All minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times to participate in the activity. This tour cannot accommodate guests with back, knee, or other mobility issues. Tour may be canceled due to severe weather. Our tours usually operate in light rain and other moderate weather conditions; however, tour may be canceled in the event of harsh or unsafe weather conditions. In the event that we need to cancel the trip due to inclement weather, we will provide a full refund.

Refund Policy:

To cancel your activity, written notification must be sent to info@beachbumcozumel.com. For a full refund, cancel up to 7 days prior to the scheduled departure. Cancellations received between 6 and 4 days prior to scheduled departure date will incur in a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellations 3 days prior to tour departure will incur in a 50% cancellation fee. Same day cancellations or "no-shows" are 100% non-refundable. In case the port is officially closed by the harbormaster, the trip will be canceled with the option to reschedule for another day or receive a full refund.
