Your journey begins at the Fonatur Marina where our captain and guide will greet you. Your trip includes 3 different reefs to snorkel: Palancar Gardens, Colombia, and El Cielito. Enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks in between locations such as guacamole or pico de gallo with tortilla chips, fresh fruit including watermelon, mango, or cantaloupe (depending on the season), and soft drinks. Beer or other alcoholic beverages are available for purchase during checkout.

If it's your first time snorkeling, don't worry! Your guide will explain everything you need to know and equip you with a snorkel tube, a mask, and fins and make sure everything fits snug and comfortably. Your guide will always lead the way and help you spot sea creatures as you float gently over the water while breathing through your snorkel tube. Each snorkeling circuit lasts from 20 - 30 mins depending on how comfortable you feel during the activity, but don't worry, the boat always remains close in case anyone from your group wants to return early. Additionally, your guide has a floatation device—ready to assist anyone in need.

After snorkeling at all 3 reefs, you decide whether to make a last stop at "El Cielo" a famous sandbank in the middle of the sea, to enjoy the scenery and play with the stingrays, or to visit a beach club to enjoy a meal. (Lunch not included). The total duration of the trip is 4 hours.

This tour is very enjoyable and easy-going. Though our boats do not travel at excessive speeds, this tour is not recommended for people with heart or breathing issues. All minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times to participate in the activity. This tour cannot accommodate guests with back, knee, or other mobility issues. Tour may be canceled due to severe weather. Our tours usually operate in light rain and other moderate weather conditions; however, tour may be canceled in the event of harsh or unsafe weather conditions. In case the port is officially closed by the harbormaster, the trip will be canceled with the option to reschedule for another day or receive a full refund.

Refund Policy

To cancel your activity, written notification must be sent to info@beachbumcozumel.com. For a full refund, cancel up to 7 days prior to the scheduled departure. Cancellations received between 6 and 4 days prior to scheduled departure date will incur in a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellations 3 days prior to tour departure will incur in a 50% cancellation fee. Same day cancellations or "no-shows" are 100% non-refundable.In case the port is officially closed by the harbormaster, the trip will be canceled with the option to reschedule for another day or receive a full refund.
